Downloading of pictures on to laptop

I have been trying to download pictures and videos from my Infinix 559 phone to my laptop. Each time, it tells me that there is not pictures of videos. Yet I am quite sure there are many pictures and videos on the  phone from WhatsApp platform and pictures I have taken over times[br]What should I do so as to free up space on my phone. Please I will appreciate if you can response immediately. Thanks

insert an sd card into your phone

open the file manager app and copy those pictures onto the sd card.

you can delete the copied pictures on your internal memory
