Microsoft Testing Android Screen Mirroring on Windows 10 PCs

[br]Microsoft has added beta support Android app screen mirroring in Windows 10 Build 1803 or newer for the latest Insider builds.[br][br]At the moment the feature is only compatible with a limited number of devices but it will be supported by all smartphones running Android version 7.0 or later.[br][br]As detailed in the "Phone screen – supported devices" page on Microsoft's community website, the company provides "an early preview into the newest feature for the Your Phone app – phone screen. You can now mirror your Android phone’s screen directly on your PC without having to dig for your phone."[br][br][br]Microsoft previously demoed the Windows 10 Your Phone app during October 2018 at the company’s Surface event, as first reported by The Verge.[br]

[br]Besides having to run the latest Windows 10 Insider build, users who want to test the Phone Screen feature with the Your Phone app also have to have a computer which comes with support for Bluetooth with Low Energy Peripheral mode.[br][br]The screen mirroring for Android apps Windows 10 feature is also available in the beginning to Surface Go users and Microsoft also states that the list of supported devices will be expanded in the near future for both the PC and the phone platforms.[br][br][br]
