My play store has stop functioning over 5 months, l can't update and I can't download any app

Clear cache data for all apps, reset app preferences, clear app data for the playstore and play services app, reboot and try again

first you have to check if your Google play services is working.. if not please Google search and download.. then google search  and download the latest play store and you will be fine..
