[br][br]Google Maps has received three new useful features in India that will let users check travel time for an auto-rickshaw, live-train status for Indian Railways train and real-time bus travel information on its app. All these features are India-specific and will be made available to use in the coming days. [br][br]In a blog post, Google said, "Google Maps is being used by over a billion travellers to navigate and explore their world, wherever they are. Beyond providing the ability to simply navigate between places, we have focused on building India-first features for Google Maps, to deliver a more relevant, accurate, and reliable experience."[br][br]Real-time bus travel information[br][br]On the basis of real-time, Google Maps will give users an exact time one would take to reach a particular destination by a public bus. Users will be able to check the duration of time it will take by a local bus. The app will show live traffic status of the route in red and green colours. The red coloured text would mean that there is traffic congestion on the road and it will take more time than usual to reach the destination while the green colour text would suggest that the route is clear. [br][br]This feature has been launched in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Chennai, Mysore, Coimbatore, and Surat.[br][br]Live-train status[br][br]Users will now be able to check live train status for Indian Railways train on the app itself. The feature will display the live status of a train and will let users know whether their train is delayed or running on time. Google has partnered with Where is My Train app to develop this feature in Google Maps. [br][br]Travel time for an auto-rickshaw[br][br]Users can now get directions support in Google Maps for auto-rickshaw and public transport journeys. The public transport tab on the app will show the time it will take to travel by an auto-rickshaw to/from a certain location.
