3. the significance of June 12 is to celebrate democracy day in regard to Nigeria's free and fair election in June 12, 1993 but the winner MKO Abiola wasn't declared winner, which later led to his imprisonment and death.  so some states in the south west most especially Lagos State always remember him every year but its our democracy day now starting this year 2019. thanks
