My Note 2 is charging over USB instead of charging on ac. Please how can I resolve this problem.

my note 4 charger cable is damaged, and mobile is not changing with others cable, I met near carlcare center for new cable in mangalore karnataka India, they told wl get in a week but now they r telling still wait they r not responding to me... plz help me
